Try Piriton. You can get it in the chemists but it tastes pretty rank.

Maybe you have chest infection and need antibiotics.
granddaughter has hay fever, bad chest with breathing
she went to docs and was prescribed Ventolin to
help with her breathing, shes now fine,

don’t go taking to riduclously over priced pills like claratin, benydrill etc…
go to tescos and have a look for something called ‘new era’ it is a homeopathic medicine and each tub contains over 450 tablets. you can take 4 of these up to every half hour if necessary and there is no risk of over dose and no side effects. I have found them to be extremely effective!
This doesn’t sound particularly pleasant but people have told me to put a film of vaseline up my nose and that apparently helps to relieve the symptoms quite a bit!
I know how you feel with hayfever, ive had it for the past 10 years now :(

Personally I went to the doctor and he prescribed me something similar to Clarytin but it wasn’t the same stuff. Worked a treat. And for my £6 prescription I got 30 tablets. Bargain!

I too was taking claritin and it didn’t work. If you are looking for something you can get over the counter, the best I’ve found is Tylenol Allergy Sinus or Generic-Wal-mart Brand equivalent. Hope this helps.

i use a nasal spray called beconase, it works well for me, spray up each nostril in the morning and i am set for the day :)

Go and see your doctor. Different tablets work for different people and your doctor can evaluate what might be best for you. As someone else pointed out, prescriptions can work out a lot cheaper than buying hayfever tablets over the counter. Good luck x

Try the homeopathic treatment. You should really start it before the hayfever season. It costs about £30. Try it for next year. FFYNNONWEN Homeopathic Remedies, Aberystwyth in Wales. tel. 01974241376. It has given me great relief.

piriton is the best for me no question
    good luck

  11. RED (green's sister) says:

From what anyone i know with hayfever piriton is meant to be best. i know they all find clarintin useless. the only thing is piriton makes u drowsy. give it a go. i think the pollen count at the moment must be very high as i have never heard so many people complain b4. good luck. i think i spelt it right anyway. PIRITON
