A normally healthy person has enough antigens in their body to recover from colds and hay fever. Children and the elderly are at risk because their immune system either hasn’t fully developed or is too weak to take on the battle.
The same goes for adults. If a healthy adult is bombarded with many afflictions at once, that person can die. Sometimes with little warning. It’s rare, though. The human body, as most creatures on this earth, have an uncanny ability to adapt.
Eat your veggies.
