I suffer from bad hay fever (I live in Australia), and my family and I are planning to go on a Holiday to Europe later this year. I want it to be as enjoyable as possible, and having hay fever would make it real pain.
Were planning to go when it is summer over there (So mid June), and I wanted to know if there was hay fever in Europe. If so, what can help me prevent or treat hay fever, because I’m really sick of it and don’t want to suffer from it on my holiday. Please help.

I live in the UK and suffer from quite severe hayfever. Hayfever is caused by pollen, and grass spores (which are what most people are allergic to) are at their peak in June and July, so you’re likely to encounter it wherever you are in Europe. I would suggest taking some antihistamine (some top brand ones here are piriton, benadryl and clarityn), which are quite effective. If your allergy is very severe, your doctor can prescribe steroids and other medication. Enjoy your trip x

Certainly on the British Isles, and I’m sure mainland is no different. It can be quite a bother, don’t know what you do about it though, when I visit I just carry tissue, haha.
