I grew up in cincinnati ohio, then I moved to madison, wisconsin, and right when I moved I developed killer hay fever, I started taking a one a day allergy pill, then I moved to new york city and boom, right when I moved here it got even worse. I mean really bad. I started taking a one a day pill(better one) and now its like it stopped working. The only thing it helps with now is my itchy nose and my eyes are not swelling in the mornings anymore.
Anyone know a good way to kick this crazy hay fever?
Thank you so much!

Hi!
Firstly, lucky you living in New York, my dream city!!
Secondly, I know its no good for you this year, but in late Winter/early Spring next year, try taking a spoonful of honey each day. The honey needs to be ‘native’ to New York, if that’s possible, in other words, it needs to be made by bees from in or around New York. The theory is that if you consume the pollen via the honey before the hayfever season starts, it builds up an immunity in your body and hence, should relieve your symptoms. I live in the UK and know several people who have tried this and found it to be highly effective.
Hope this helps!

You should try the Qu-chi acupressure band. I got one about 2 months ago to help with my hay fever. My main symptom was the muzzy head feeling, and when i took antihistamines they helped with the other symptoms but not the cloudy head. I would certainly recommend it. There was an offer on if you typed in the word ‘allergy’ at the checkout to get 20% off but dont know if it is still on offer.

try to stay inside a air conditioned building, I also used to have bad hay fever. its because these people plant all these ornamental plants that have lots of flowers, the only time I was OK was when I moved to the west Coast I lived like 300 feet from the Ocean and my Hay fever never acted up after I lived there for a few years even when i MOVED BACK EAST where its worse

Use hayfever tablets-they need to be swallowed with water because they cant be bitten before they are swallowed.
Also drink alot of fresh orange juice, it helps

Get a good air purifier for your room.
