It starts off as lung pain and develops into a productive cough. Then comes the ever runny/stuffy nose part, the post-nasal drip, the sinus headaches, the sinus pressure, and then the fatigue. I have tried Sudafed, Zyrtec, Benedryl, and Tylenol with Dextromethorphan (aka, Tylenol Sore Throat and Cough). I waited until the third week of the cold to go to the doctor each time, and was diagnosed with a sinus infection or just minor allergic rhinitis. I know I’m sensitive to pollen, and I usually get maybe 1-2 head colds a year. But this is ridiculous. This “cold” has been coming back every three weeks, lasting for a 3-and-a-half weeks at a time for the past nearly 10 months. I think I have hay fever, but see, hay fever is a chronic issue, not a “mark it on your calender” nearly scheduled issue. What gives?

Nasacort – works all the time. Never had any problems with “hay fever” or allergies since I started using this product. I used to have to take Allegra-D AND Nasacort – now I just use the Nascort at night and no more problems.

sounds more like chronic sinusitis….more than likely due to fungus in the nasal cavities. Hayfever would not be a problem in the winter months, but I guess that depends on where you live.
You can help this by doing a nasal rinse with saline water.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HiWVGCEiD…
It is a bit uncomfortable at first and does take a little practice to perfect but well worth mastering. You can use a saline solution made with sea salt, do not use regular table salt, I think it is the iodine, but it burns like heck.
To make the saltwater solution, mix one-half teaspoon uniodized salt in an 8-ounce glass of warm water.
Oil of oregano supplements are also helpful for sinus infections, and olive leaf and probiotics, vitamin C can be helpful also
Reduce/eliminate refined sugar in your diet, sodas, sugar sweetened drinks and foods, the sugar feeds the fungus, also caffeine, nicotine and alcohol..

I get the same thing, year round. I take 1/2 zyrtec each night now and I use this to cure sinus infections. THere are many kinds of bacteria that live in the sinuses, and this gets rid of all the bad ones!.This is the only thing that really helped me — my Dr. told me about a sinus wash that will kill bacteria.
    you need
    distilled water
    sea salt
liquid chlorophyll and colloidal silver from the health food store.
in a glass mix 1/4 cup water with a pinch of salt and heat to body temperature.
add 5 drops each silver and chlorophyll and mix.
using a large dropper (like one used for infant medication) drop 2 full droppersfull into one side of the nose while laying down.
Turn the head and let it drain out the other nostril. Be sure to have paper towels handy.
The silver kills the bacteria and there are several hundred kind that can live in the sinus cavities and anti biotics don’t get rid of them all.
Do this twice a day for a week, mixing up the mixture fresh each time.
Then do it once a week for maintenance.
There is nothing in this that will hurt you, and it cured me.
I do not have to take claritin, or antibiotics anymore.
    best wishes
