Can You Take Anti-histamines With Fluoxetine?

I am on fluoxetine for depression and it is working well, I suffer from severe hay fever every June. I usually take loratadine ( Clarityn ) can I take it with the fluoxetine?

Yes you can, that’s fine- there are no interactions between the two.

I would think so. I’m on Fluoxetine and have to take a lot of strong medication for other things aswell and i have never known a problem. I’m pretty sure it would be ok with anti histamines, but don’t take my word for it, or anyone elses on here for that matter. Call your doctor or pharmacist to double check, Better to be safe than sorry!

wifes a pharmacist and says yes but read the leaflet it will explain what antis you can and cant have with fluoxetine
