due to severe hay fever and heatstroke + exhaustion i have been really unwell this week and missed my science year 10 gcse – which might i add i didn’t even know i had! how do i get a doctors note as proof if they don’t issue them to minors and you have to pay quite a lot of money for them; i don’t know if my parents could afford it as it is £25 + to pay for the science exam alone.

The year 10 core science exams can be retaken again in november and march, it only costs £2.50 for a resit. I’m doing my exams at home, becuase i haven’t been at school for the last year for medical reasons, and my school didn’t make me pay, so i dont think your school should, you could call the exams boards and ask them for advice.
