I Have Had A Chest/head Cold-turned Sinus Infection Every Three Weeks Since August 07. Is It Hay Fever?
Posted by: Alan in Hay Fever, tags: August, Chest/head, Coldturned, Every, Have, Infection, Since, Sinus, Three, WeeksIt starts off as lung pain and develops into a productive cough. Then comes the ever runny/stuffy nose part, the post-nasal drip, the sinus headaches, the sinus pressure, and then the fatigue. I have tried Sudafed, Zyrtec, Benedryl, and Tylenol with Dextromethorphan (aka, Tylenol Sore Throat and Cough). I waited until the third week of the cold to go to the doctor each time, and was diagnosed with a sinus infection or just minor allergic rhinitis. I know I’m sensitive to pollen, and I usually get maybe 1-2 head colds a year. But this is ridiculous. This “cold” has been coming back every three weeks, lasting for a 3-and-a-half weeks at a time for the past nearly 10 months. I think I have hay fever, but see, hay fever is a chronic issue, not a “mark it on your calender” nearly scheduled issue. What gives?
