Recently my eyes have become extremely sore and quite dry, and i often have to close my eyes for a long time to moisten them again, which often stings and makes my eyes run, resulting in my make up also running!! My mum seems to think i could be allergic to my eyeliner or my make up remover but i have been using the same eyeliner for ages and my make up remover wipes dont have anything in them really that i could be allergic to, as they are made by Simple and again i have been using them for ages. Is it possible that i could have mild hayfever?

My son is 16 months old and has been congested, runny nose, coughing, etc for the past month or so. It’s so bad when he wakes up in the morning that he can’t even eat his breakfast without coughing or gagging (and he’s already underweight).
We took him to the doctor a couple of weeks ago and she said he likely has seasonal allergies (we live in Oklahoma where allergies are terrible this time of year). She told us to give him 1/2 teaspoon of Children’s Zyrtec once a day. It only seems to be helping a little bit and he still sounds pretty terrible.
For other parents with young toddler’s with seasonal allergies, what do you do or what did your doctor prescribe? Along with the Zyrtec, we also do the humidifier and baby vapo rub at night along with saline nose drops and use the bulb syringe several times per day.
I think we’re going back to the pediatrician on Tuesday but just wanted to see what other parents did for their kids.

Every moring for the last year, I think, or more, I’ve been waking up to the basic cold symptoms. Just a runny nose, really. It lasts for about two hours, every day, and sometimes in the evening before I go to sleep. When I went to a to-week camping trip, it went away in the first three (estimation) days. Maybe a bit less, maybe a bit more. The night before last night, I was up all night with a horrible ‘cold’, which may just be an extreme allergy case. Then, the whole day yesterday I was sneezing and using up lots and lots of tissues. Even now I have a runny nose, though not half as bad as yesterday. We’re going for an allergy test today, but does anyone know what it may be?
